He graduated in dramaturgy from the Belgrade Faculty of Drama Arts (FDU).
He is the author of two realized theatre plays, "BELGRADE ON ITS KNEES" (1997), directed by Egon Savin, and "LIFE FROM THE BEGINNING" (2000), directed by Stefan Sablic.
He is the author of screenplay for the film "WHEN I GROW UP I'LL BE A KANGAROO" (2004), directed by Radivoje Andric.
He is the writer and director of the film "SEVEN AND A HALF" (2006) www.sedamipo.filmbrigada.rs and "WAIT FOR ME AND I WILL NOT RETURN" (2009) www.cekajme.filmbrigada.rs which both had a rich festival life in Serbia and abroad: Herceg Novi Film Festival, Screenplay Festival in Vrnjacka Banja, Film Actors' Meetings, Sarajevo Film Festival, RAINDANCE Film Festival, Tetouan International Mediterranean Film Festival, Thessaloniki International Film market, Silk Road Film Festival, Göteborg International Film Festival, CINEQUEST Film Festival, OFFshore Film Festival, Febiofest Prague Film Festival, Go East Film Festival, Skopje Film Festival, Roma Independent Film Festival.
As writer, director and producer, Miroslav Momcilovic has just
completed a new feature film "DEATH OF A MAN IN THE BALKANS" (2012) www.smrtcovekanabalkanu.filmbrigada.rs which premiere is expected during 2012. |
